This looks like an LDT2 issue and is not related to RSU. Should be moved to LDT2 bug list |
Created attachment 48 [details] adc_launcher process screenshot The windows installer works as intended when we install it for the first time. However if we try to install it for the second time on the same machine, it throws an error. Also, when we un-install from add/remove program, we have the same issue. After debugging, we found out that installer is unable to kill adc_launcher process whose exe is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeStyle Libre path. Manually tried to kill this process from command prompt (with admin/non-admin mode) but this also failed. Was able to kill the process manually from the task manager. Additionally, we discovered that there is a registry entry in “Run” (snapshot attached below) and when we tried to delete it but were unable to delete. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install Freestyle Libre software. The installation will be successful 2. Open the task manager and keep an eye on ADC_LA~1 process 3. Re-install FreestyleLibre 4. Process will not be killed and user will get an installation error
