Per team's discussion on 08 Jan 2019. This bug would not be fixed. The possible scenarios for user would like like below. 1.If Reader is upgraded unsuccessfully, the Reader UI would be corrupt (due to UOM = 255). By clicking 'Try again' on RSU could update the Reader to 2.4.8 successfully. 2.If Reader is upgraded successfully, the Reader is up-to-date and configured with all changes. no matter clicking try-again or not, it won't affect this 'up-to-date' Reader. For both cases, user would get an up-to-date Reader eventually. |
Created attachment 97 [details] Issues Log_Windows Build : 1028 OS: Windows Reader : 2.1.2 Installer : 154 Steps to reproduce: 1) Connect the reader to RSU installed PC. 2) Launch the Application and navigate to Ready to Start Update screen 3) Click Next button on the Ready to Start Update screen and ensure that the Update is in progress. 4) At the end of Update progress, disconnect the reader. Actual : RSU showing up successful message and then update unsuccessful screens. Expected: RSU displays "Update unsuccessful"
